Message from the President

Dear Friends:

Welcome to the Assistance League of Greater Collin County. This web site can inform you about our organization and activities. I would like to tell you about the personal side of membership in Assistance League in the hopes that you will understand the essence of what it means to be member.

Our programs provide numerous volunteer opportunities for our members.

The real essence is in seeing the joy on the face of a child who receives a new pair of jeans for the first time, or seeing the light bulb flash when a difficult word is sounded out, or the look on a child’s face when all the math problems are correct. This is why we do what we do.

Assistance League members are grateful for the community support that we have been given over the years. This is vital to our success in reaching out to those whom we help. Gifts include volunteer time, talent and generous financial support. We thank the citizens, corporations and businesses that have opened their hearts for those that we serve.
